Elaborating will probably give me enemies. lol but I just want to say that it was been a long time since I was last disappointed in my VIP fandom.

After 1 year Hiatus…

Im back!!

First of all I would like to apologize for those who have been readers of this small blog a year ago. I suddenly disappear when I was supposed to post a birthday special for Dong Won. Unfortunately, real life was rough last year for me especially at work. 2015 made me realize adult life and I learned to prioritize what’s important so I had to leave my fangirl life for a while.

Right now, I am leaving 2015 behind me and starting 2016 with a bang. I know I missed out a lot of posts regarding Dong Won especially on how The Priest did really well last year. However, I am planning NOT to miss out 2016 especially with 3 films slated this year. I probably wouldn’t be as active as I was a year ago but I will try to update you guys with the latest news especially now that there has been a lot of interest for Dong Won in the international scene.

I know Kang Dong Won has signed with YG and if you may have read my earlier blog posts, I am a huge BIGBANG fan (YG artist). TBH, I do not know how to feel about this. haha I love the idea of having my favorite actor and artist be in the same agency. HOWEVER, I was never a big fan of Yang Hyun Suk. lol Thankfully (and hopefully), the brother will be a better CEO for him. Of course, I trust his decisions. I am confident that he knows what he is doing. I’ll support him on that.

Anyway, I am glad I am back and this year is definitely Kang Dong won’s year! 🙂

Hello everyone! I know I said I’ll be doing the fanmeet for his birthday but I am apologizing as I suddenly had to go on a vacation with my family for 3 days (and I just got home now) so I don’t really have the time to compile and search for fan accounts (If you guys can share, I will gladly look at it). I actually just got home now but I can’t let this day passed and not make a special post about my beloved Dong Won right? haha

[RANDOM] KDW remakes for 2014!

Not really news news but I guess its still relevant since its related to KDW. We have remakes of KDW movies this 2014 and its not only one but TWO. Though this isn’t really the first time one of his movie got remade the first one was back in 2011/2012(?). Can’t remember lol but its starred funny man Cha Tae Hyun. 😀

Cause I am proud to be a VIP~

I wanted to write about this because I am so proud of them. I am a KPOP fan as well and a huge HUGE VIP. TBH, I can only admit to be in one fandom in my years as a KPOP fan. BIGBANG is the only reason I am still present in the kpop community. I don’t think I need reasons to list or point out why I love them but I am also not that kind of fan who go “elitist mode” when it comes to them. Well maybe sometimes I do but I try to be rational as possible. But my point is, BIGBANG killed their MAMA performance! *hands down*

KPOP fans must know about MAMA 2013 recently taking event. BIGBANG weren’t nominated but they did perform. I was never really concern with awards (I’ll still congratulates my bias Jiyong for his awards) but I won’t get butthurt just cause someone should have and should have not won. At the end of the day, people have their own say on who deserves it… Anyway, as I was saying, BIGBANG performed in MAMA and is the first time in a while (aside from concerts) that they performed together as a group in public. I may sound bias but they were awesome. The performance was perfect! I just wished Daesung performed his solo as well (even if it is Japanese) but they showed that they are a veteran group. Though Ill admit, compare to other years (I think MKMF 2008 is still the best for me, based on performances), this year has a bit subtle. However, as a VIP, I am just proud to see them performing together as 5. I love them branching out and doing their own thing but at the end of the day, I love all of them and I miss them so much. It made me realize once again how much this group has been a part of me. Despite all the hardships and scandals they have faced, they are still here performing and going stronger. Proud VIP yo~ Check out their performance above. ❤

P.S. I love EXO as well and I am just gonna say how proud I am to see them where they are now. Haters exist in every fandom but that's the price of popularity. Getting the respect of others may take a long time but nothing is impossible. I see a bright future ahead of them. 🙂

I found this in instiz and I find it really interesting hence why I shared it here. This is basically a list of actor who were ‘popular’ to females AKA who made South Korea’s women go crazy for during the 2000’s and the respective movie/drama of them. Of course Dong Won is here. [VIDEO/RANDOM] Bestie’s Love Option mentions Kang Dong Won

Idol girl group members always has this fixation for saying Kang Dong Won as their ideal type and who wouldn’t be surprise that an idol group will actually be singing on looking for a boy who looks like him? Bestie released their new video Love Option which talks about girls and their perspective on ideal types. See the lyrics below:

A person who’s slightly tall, who slightly resembles Kang Dong Won and understands a girl’s heart
Who has a lot of money, who doesn’t throw big events
But gives me 100 roses, a diamond necklace and ring

I guess if you read the chorus. It is a bit shallow but once you read the whole lyrics, you’ll probably see the irony of the song. Which I find really witty as much as the song isn’t my taste. It talks about girls who has this ideal type and keeps asking herself why is she single (the IRONY!). I think it’s not just Korean girls but girls in general that has this dream like description of the guy of their dreams. Some girls actually take it seriously in finding that “ideal type” they like, they somehow forget to look at the other things to look at. I find it funny how Dong Won got reference in this. Though it isn’t really a surprise as he is the epitome of Ideal Type when it comes to Korean females.
