[NEWS/VIDEO] Shin Hye Sun talks about KDW in Happy Together

2-3 weeks ago KDW has talked about in one of his series of interviews on the on the spot kiss scene added for the Violent Prosecutor. The lucky lady is Shin Hye Sun. The articles was much talked about that Shin Hye Sun got asked about her opinion on this in the recent Happy Together episode. Of course, a lot of attention has received because as a DW fan, we all know he rarely does kiss scenes (because he does not like romantic movies lol) so this quite a reaction from the general public especially the female population. I laugh how Hye Sun talked about women booing while watching the kiss scene in big screen. haha. Aside from that, KDW is very much loved and liked by the females so the hilarious comments regarding “Shin Hye Sun saving another country in her past life.” lol.

Anyway, you guys can start at 5:30 mark to watch Hye Sun talking about KDW. It’s subbed so its a plus for us international fans. 🙂

[INFO/MEDIA] A Violent Prosecutor maintains #1 + Stage Greeting (020716)

Hurrah for a great start of the year for Dong Won!

As previously posted, Saturday has been a great start of the weekend for A Violent Prosecutor where the film ranked in almost a million viewers in just one day. Now, it is ending the weekend celebration with another almost a million sales with 945000+ in just Monday alone maintaining its number 1 spot in Korea’s box office list for 5 consecutive days! Its rival film, Kungfu Panda 3 got a 200000+ viewers in the number 2 spot We got a Sunday numbers of 771000+ which is still a huge numbers. The weekend alone accumulated 2 million bringing the total numbers of the film from its released date to a whooping 4 million!

I am so happy right now with the rave response the film is getting with the general public. I hope it continues it competitive streak even after the Lunar weekend ends. The number will definitely lower considering that working day comes along again in Tuesday.

[NEWS] Kang Dong Won chosen as Best Star born in the Year of the Monkey for 2016

Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year to everyone!

As we close out the year of the sheep, we enter the new year for the Monkey! Kang Dong Won is born in the year of 1981 which was also the year of the monkey. KDW is one of the representative actors for this year and is chosen as the best star representative born in the Year of the monkey. It is noted by Section TV that Kang Dong Won and the others will have an active year. I believe this was in an older interview done for Section TV where KDW was asked for his comment regarding this year. He thanked everyone and added that he will work even harder as one of the actors born in the year of the Monkey.

With the great reception for A Violent Prosecutor and ardent love of the public for KDW. This year is looking to shape as a great year for Dong Won. 🙂

He is on solo guesting on Park Kyung Lim’s FM show, an unexpected scene with his continual promotions with Kang Dong Won. He talked about a variety of stuff but I will only talk about the times, he has mentioned Kang Dong Won.

[NEWS] Kang Dong Won ranks #1 for best in wearing Hanbok in Men’s category

With the Lunar New Year in a few days, it is one of those traditions for polls related to the New Year comes. On this case, it is related to Korea’s traditional clothing – Hanbok. Which stars wear the beautiful Hanbook best?

For the men’s category, we have our dear Dong Won claiming the number 1 spot. Kang Dong Won is such a darling these days in the media. Of course, he was always well received but the fervent welcome from the media and especially the netizens is extra special these days.

Wow!

I expected the number to shoot up considering the long weekend but I did not expect this high of a number. Kang Dong Won’s latest movie with Hwang Jung Min gather 9300000+ viewers in a day! That’s a few numbers before a million. This is a huge number and this brings up the movie to a total number of 2.5 million. With how huge the 1st Saturday is, we may be getting more numbers with the incoming Lunar New Year. Hwang Jung Min just came from a 10 million movie with the Veteran and it looks like this one is gathering to be in the 10 million club. I hope I don’t jynx it! Kang Dong Won and Hwang Jung Min’s star powers definitely helped the movie. As well as the awesome marketing the movie has been doing. Speaking of marketing…

After 1 year Hiatus…

Im back!!

First of all I would like to apologize for those who have been readers of this small blog a year ago. I suddenly disappear when I was supposed to post a birthday special for Dong Won. Unfortunately, real life was rough last year for me especially at work. 2015 made me realize adult life and I learned to prioritize what’s important so I had to leave my fangirl life for a while.

Right now, I am leaving 2015 behind me and starting 2016 with a bang. I know I missed out a lot of posts regarding Dong Won especially on how The Priest did really well last year. However, I am planning NOT to miss out 2016 especially with 3 films slated this year. I probably wouldn’t be as active as I was a year ago but I will try to update you guys with the latest news especially now that there has been a lot of interest for Dong Won in the international scene.

I know Kang Dong Won has signed with YG and if you may have read my earlier blog posts, I am a huge BIGBANG fan (YG artist). TBH, I do not know how to feel about this. haha I love the idea of having my favorite actor and artist be in the same agency. HOWEVER, I was never a big fan of Yang Hyun Suk. lol Thankfully (and hopefully), the brother will be a better CEO for him. Of course, I trust his decisions. I am confident that he knows what he is doing. I’ll support him on that.

Anyway, I am glad I am back and this year is definitely Kang Dong won’s year! 🙂

I know I said I’ll be doing the fanmeet for his birthday but I am apologizing as I suddenly had to go on a vacation with my family for 3 days (and I just got home now) so I don’t really have the time to compile and search for fan accounts (If you guys can share, I will gladly look at it). I actually just got home now but I can’t let this day passed and not make a special post about my beloved Dong Won right? haha
